As a Senior Construction Project Manager at Mitie, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact central government contracts, working closely with management and operations teams to drive outcomes and improve project efficiency. With a strong background in project planning and management, you'll oversee team activities from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with NEC3 contracts and governance requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple projects valued £25k to £5m simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
  • Manage consultants, subcontractors, and supply chains effectively.
  • Monitor and control costs to achieve budget targets.
  • Implement company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in delivering complex projects in the public sector.
  • Commercial acumen with a strong financial focus.
  • Proficiency in project planning using at least one industry-standard software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a Construction Discipline is highly desirable.
  • Membership in a construction-related institute is a plus.
  • Relevant construction safety qualifications are essential.

The annual salary for this position is £62,000 - £82,000, commensurate with your level of expertise.
