About Scotland's Rural College (SRUC)

Our work focuses on developing sustainable breeding and management systems for dairy cows. We conduct research at Crichton Royal Farm, Dumfries.

The new facilities at Barony campus will extend our capabilities in this area.

We require a Dairy Research and Innovation Specialist to contribute to these efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing sustainable breeding and management systems for dairy cows.
  • Conducting research at Crichton Royal Farm, Dumfries and at the new facilities at Barony campus.

The successful candidate will have experience in dairy research and innovation, excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
