Retail Operations Assistant Store Manager

Success Talent is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team at a well-known street apparel brand. As a key member of the store team, you will be responsible for delivering a unique and positive experience for customers, resulting in strong sales growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving monthly targets and exceeding them where possible.
- Contribute to creating a strong team environment for the retail team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Support the recruitment and development of the team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of current and future products, providing expert advice to customers and the retail team.
- Assist with ordering products, managing stock control, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods, resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
- Conduct monthly and year-end retail stock takes, adhering to strict stock control procedures.
- Assist with managing the team rota, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing downtime.
- Perform daily banking procedures and assist with cashing up at the end of the shift, as needed.
- Ensure customers have a positive experience while in the store, providing exceptional customer service.
Knowledge and Experience:
With relevant retail experience, preferably in a management or supervisory role, you must demonstrate acquired skills and measurable success in the following areas:
- Team management and leadership.
- Driving performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Knowledge of Retail IT systems.
- Commerciality and merchandising skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential.

- Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and provide creative solutions.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends.
