Job Summary

We're seeking an ambitious Executive Chef to join our team in Basingstoke. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. Your passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service will shine through in every dish you create.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new menus that meet the evolving tastes and dietary needs of our clients.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of chefs to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage kitchen inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Customer Feedback: Act on customer feedback to continuously improve our food services and exceed client expectations.

Requirements

  • Culinary Expertise: Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent and have a proven track record of creating delicious, high-quality food.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with experience in supervising a team and driving results.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate: Hold a valid Food Hygiene certificate and maintain a strong understanding of food safety regulations.
