Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Chefs Bay Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for producing and cooking food for sale in our farm shop and cafes, as well as developing menus and ensuring the implementation of our HACCP policy and food hygiene and safety procedures.
Main Responsibilities- Produce food to order and manage the specials board to minimize waste
- Organize the kitchen and its resources to ensure maximum productivity
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and well-organized to maintain a 5-star food hygiene rating
- Manage stock control and stock rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste and optimize inventory
- Quality control of products leaving the kitchen to ensure consistency and quality
- Embrace H&S regulations and food safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Work with the coffee shop to ensure great customer satisfaction
- Ensure the kitchen is reaching its maximum productivity potential
- Work with initiative as part of a team
