Chorley, United Kingdom AFR Consulting Full time

AFFR Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Forecasting Specialist to join their team in Lancashire. As a Business Forecasting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by providing accurate financial forecasts and analyses. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure that financial plans are aligned with the company's overall strategy.

About the Company

The company is a leading manufacturer of FMCG products, operating across two sites in Lancashire. Their policy of continuous investment has enabled them to expand rapidly, investing in modern production facilities and warehouse automation. A recent restructure of the finance department has created a new role for a Business Forecasting Specialist to work closely with department heads to manage cost, improve efficiencies, and drive performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing budgets for all departments
  • Reporting of variances against budget
  • Meeting regularly with budget holders to discuss results and actions

An estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you enjoy the FP&A side of accounting rather than month-end routines, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
