About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Cat C1 7.5t Driver to join our team at City Plumbing Supplies. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of yourself and your vehicle at all times.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Incident Reporting: Report any incidents or issues to your line manager promptly.
  • Transport Compliance: Comply with all relevant transport compliance laws and regulations.
  • Supporting Sales Targets: Assist the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins.
  • Customer Service: Provide a first-class service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Branch Support: Assist with general duties within the branch, including serving customers on the trade counter, telesales, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A clean Cat C1 (7.5t) driving licence.
  • Previous driving experience.
  • Knowledge of the products associated with our industry (an advantage).
