Quality and Safety Excellence Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Safety Excellence Lead to join our team at Nestlé SA. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in championing quality and safety across Nespresso UK & I.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a robust QSH Strategy, ensuring compliance with Food Safety, Quality and Safety & Health regulations, and promoting safe behaviours throughout the business. You will lead and develop a team of three, providing expert guidance and advice to ensure consumer trust and preference in the Nespresso Market.
Responsibilities- Provide QSH input to the local business strategy, driving strategic decisions and company priority setting
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in QSH performance, aligning with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence mindset
- Establish and manage the appropriate QSH network, ensuring alignment with operational plans
- Manage and comply with HR and Line Manager's Planning Cycle, ensuring timely reporting and accurate data
- Ensure consistent application of the company local Quality, Safety & Health policy, Nestlé and Nespresso instructions for Quality, Safety and Health
- Lead the Management Review of QSH, ensuring seamless integration with the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Maintain the IMS up-to-date and reviewed, ensuring continuous improvement and accurate reporting
- Accurate and timely reporting on Safety & Health matters, including compliance-related partners
- Ensure Nespresso UK & I compliance with local Food Safety and H&S legislation, maintaining a proactive approach to anticipate issues and improve current policies and practices
- Certification as a business, compliant with relevant frameworks and policies, creating an enthusiastic engagement culture within Nespresso
- Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, auditor training, and NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Membership of a professional body, such as IOSH, and business experience in similar industries
- Budget management, proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams, and demonstrated capability to implement projects and change management
