PRS Recruitment Services is currently hiring a Building Services Technician to work in Hatfield. As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various building services, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.



  • About the Job:
  • The successful candidate will hold City & Guilds 18th Edition Certification and have prior experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with lighting, motor, UPS systems, emergency generation, and HVAC plant equipment is advantageous.
  • Responsibilities include:

    • Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential issues
    • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
    • Responding to emergencies and performing repairs as needed
    • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery


  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting visual site inspections
    • Performing painting and decorating tasks
    • Managing drainage and flushing systems
    • Testing fire alarms and doors
    • Undertaking minor electrical works
    • Repairing building fixtures, including doors, handles, and windows


  • Salary and Benefits:
  • We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits.
