Payroll Manager Lead

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll activities and develop new systems in conjunction with our Government clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead programme meetings, planning sessions, and workshops to ensure successful delivery of new systems.
- Collaborate with client Programme Managers to establish specific payroll deliverables and milestones.
- Identify gaps in existing business processes and amend as necessary.
- Work with Service Delivery teams to organise staff participation in testing events.
- Lead payroll activities involved in project delivery, including parallel run procedures.
- Act as operational SME for all pay-related activities and ensure payroll best practice processes are embedded.
- Engage with pension providers to ensure new system implementations meet their specifications.
- Ensure senior managers and Executive team are fully appraised of payroll implementation progress.
- Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with senior internal/external stakeholders.
- Payroll experience at managerial level.
- Knowledge of working with SaaS solutions and experience of Payroll system implementation projects.
- Knowledge of up-to-date payroll best practice.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach.
- Excellent leadership skills with strong customer and delivery focus.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present Management Information.
