Job Title: Shift Production Technician

We are seeking a skilled Shift Production Technician to join our team at a leading global manufacturing business in Wolverhampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production staff with the setting, running, and upkeep of blow moulding machines onsite, ensuring the smooth running of the machinery, and carrying out basic maintenance and fault-finding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting, running, and maintaining blow moulding machines
  • Ensuring machinery is running efficiently
  • Repairing minor machine faults
  • Supporting with machine calibration
  • Escalating electrical or major maintenance repairs to the Engineering team
  • Maintaining the upkeep of the production area
  • Adhering to health and safety standards onsite
  • Ensuring production KPIs are met
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with basic machine maintenance
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with plastic extrusion or plastic moulding is beneficial but not essential

This role would suit someone with experience as a Production Technician, Shift Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Engineer.
