Job Overview

The Medical Director's Leadership Fellow is a unique opportunity for a junior doctor to learn and develop leadership skills by working alongside the senior leadership team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. This role is 80% non-clinical, allowing time to identify, initiate, and follow through projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Medical Director and Medical Director Team in improving the junior doctor and locally employed doctor experience.
  • Implement action plans following recommendations from the GMC Trainee Survey and other feedback mechanisms.
  • Work with and lead on Medical Director Team initiatives that impact junior doctors and locally employed doctors.
  • Perform any other appropriate duties assigned by the Medical Director.
