Cement Research Opportunity

At Queen's University, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Materials Research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science and experience working with cement and concrete.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting laboratory and on-site testing of cement and cement-based materials. This will involve collecting and analyzing data, interpreting results, and contributing to regular meetings to advance research into cement and cement-based materials.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including up to 8.4 weeks' holiday entitlement per year, pension schemes, and development opportunities.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and present findings to the team. You will also be expected to have a solid understanding of relevant regulations and procedures in your area of work, including Health and Safety requirements, and be able to manage budgets and resources effectively.
