Main Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced panel repair technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars in Hartlepool.

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged bodywork panels of vehicles in accordance with received instructions or job card details.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in panel repair techniques and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • A strong understanding of vehicle chassis and framework repair.
  • The ability to operate all necessary equipment, including jigs, fixtures, and welding tools, following instructions and adhering to prescribed safety standards.
  • Familiarity with manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins.
  • The ability to attend relevant training courses as necessary to stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £40,000 basic per year, plus time saved bonus OTE £50,000. Our benefits package includes 22 days plus bank holidays (holidays will increase as time served), company pension, cycle to work scheme, employee discount, free on-site parking, health cash plan/reward programme, and referral programme.
