iFAST Global Bank Ltd is seeking a skilled Financial Crime Prevention Specialist to join their team in London.

The primary responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Conducting AML/KYC reviews on new customer files to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performing periodic reviews on existing customer files to identify potential risks.
  • Screening customers against PEP, Sanctions, and Adverse Media lists to prevent financial crime.
  • Assessing screening results and providing recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Reviewing Transaction Monitoring alerts generated by the Bank's systems to identify suspicious activity.
  • Analyzing customer data and behavior to identify patterns and trends that may indicate financial crime.
  • Conducting investigations into suspected financial crime cases.
  • Providing input into the preparation of Management Information for inclusion in monthly Risk Committee meetings.
  • Supporting the preparation of presentations for executive committees and other purposes.
  • Reviewing cases and preparing responses to information requests from regulatory bodies or other financial institutions.
  • Collaborating with the wider team, Operations, Representative Office, and Business Units to ensure effective risk management.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of prevailing rules and regulations introduced by relevant regulatory bodies and non-governmental organizations.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within a Bank.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will likely possess an Undergraduate degree and relevant qualifications in Financial Crime.
