Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead the commercial operations of The Holt Bar & Terrace, a thriving café, bar, and events venue based within Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club's newly built clubhouse and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall running and efficient management of The Holt Bar & Terrace and all its commercial operations.
  • Manage the line management of the kitchen and bar team, ensuring a high standard of food and customer experience for members and visitors.
  • Develop and implement new policies and procedures to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Club Treasurer to prepare and develop invoices, budgets, and financial planning.
  • Represent The Holt Bar & Terrace and Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club professionally in all dealings with third parties.
Requirements:
  • Strong track record of working in the hospitality sector, including relevant management experience.
  • Proven commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth.
  • Excellent management and administrative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, particularly during the cricket season.
