Tax Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Tax Senior, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional tax services to our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, and leading a close-knit team of accountants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the provision of tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients, championing excellence and quality.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, proactively addressing their tax queries and concerns.
  • Lead client meetings, providing expert tax advice and guidance.
  • Support the management team in winning new business and expanding our client base.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Work closely with management to prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare tax advice for client reports, staying up-to-date with technical research and complex tax issues.
  • Champion your own professional development, embracing new challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Support the wider team with ad-hoc duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:
  • Part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CTA/ATT or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a tax-related role, within a UK accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Experience reviewing the work of a junior team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in your work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
