Telecoms Site Engineer

Job Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a skilled Telecoms Site Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Telecoms Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecoms infrastructure in the rail sector. Your duties will include the installation of fibre and copper cabling systems, VOIP installation, and CAT5 and 6 installations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Telecoms Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed safely and within planned timescales. You will also be responsible for ensuring that design, materials, and plant are available and inspected for the designated tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurate daily recording of progress against planned works and reporting variances between planned and actual performance.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Telecoms Site Engineer to join our team. You will need to have a good understanding of telecoms infrastructure and be able to work at heights. You will also need to have a good knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental procedures. Additionally, you will need to have a basic IT skills linked to good document management.
