Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Manager to join our team at ersg Ltd and lead our Onshore Wind portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing civil engineering design, procurement, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage civil engineering design across a portfolio of Onshore Wind projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Procure and manage civil, ground, and access engineering consultants to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement design scopes for transport routes, turbine hardstands, substation groundworks, and track layouts.
  • Provide expert reports, recommendations, and risk management advice on civil engineering matters.
  • Collaborate with Tier 1 Contractors to ensure civil works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Conduct site inspections and respond to technical queries to ensure project quality and safety.
  • Prepare projects for Financial Investment Decision (FID) stages and procurement activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Onshore Wind development, preferably with a developer.
  • Experience of the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design to project completion.
  • Chartered engineer status with strong technical capability and leadership skills.
