As a Special Needs Assistant, you will be part of a talented team that supports children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our primary school in Tower Hamlets. This role is perfect for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

You will work collaboratively with qualified SEND professionals and specialist teachers to create a supportive environment where all children can thrive. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, with a First-Class or 2:1 Psychology degree from a Top 20 UK University, and experience working with children with SEN. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you develop your skills and knowledge.

This full-time term-time only position offers a competitive salary of £20,800 - £25,700 per annum (£400-£500 per week) paid on a weekly PAYE basis.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting students in engaging with the curriculum and achieving their full potential.
- Encouraging independence and confidence in students, both academically and socially.
- Assisting with sensory and behavior management strategies to create a calm and structured learning environment.
- Supporting students with autism in managing daily routines, including personal care, leisure activities, and educational tasks.
