Mason Blake, a well-established investment management house, is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to join their performance team on a permanent basis.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will take responsibility for daily and monthly calculation of performance returns, providing full attribution analysis to portfolio managers, developing and reconciling portfolios within Bloomberg, and contributing to project and product development throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate daily and monthly performance returns using advanced metrics and benchmarks.
- Develop and implement attribution models to explain differences between portfolio and benchmark returns.
- Collaborate with IT to streamline data collection processes and automate system feeds.
- Contribute to project development across the business, working closely with portfolio managers and analysts.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong background in key performance measurement, risk, and attribution within investment management. They should possess proven ability to handle large data sets, knowledge of the Factset system, and strong Excel skills.
A minimum of 4 years' work history within the investment management sector is required, along with experience working with VBA or SQL. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with data manipulation and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
