Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Reactive Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's dynamic team at a state-of-the-art plant. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of cutting-edge equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 Mechanical/Engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Time/Skill-Served mechanically, electrically advantageous, with Industrial Experience
  • Fault finding experience on automated machinery
  • Minimum 3 years FMCG experience
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply information from files, mechanical drawings, catalogues, reports, and manuals
Desirable Criteria:
  • Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment in the maintenance of a modern bottling plant
  • Computer literate
  • Experience of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • 5 years experience in a similar role
