Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our dedicated team of professionals providing care and support to elderly residents in our care homes.

This is a part-time/temporary contract offering a competitive salary of £12.00 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide personal care and support to residents, maintain their dignity and well-being, and assist with daily activities.

You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring each resident receives the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents
  • Assist with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress

Requirements:

  • At least 8+ months of recent experience in a similar care role within a residential care home for the elderly
  • Knowledge of the needs and rights of older people and an understanding of good care principles
  • Able to work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends

Schedule:

  • Day shifts (7-7 or 8-8)
  • Night shifts (6 hour shifts)
  • Monday to Friday
