The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly experienced internal communications professional to support the Group Internal Communications Lead and provide strategic guidance on change projects and Insider List activity. This role will involve designing and delivering effective internal communications activities across the Group, with a focus on supporting the CPO, COO, and CFO functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Group Internal Communications Lead in developing and implementing internal communications strategies and plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior functional leads and other stakeholders on internal communications best practices and strategies.
  • Design and deliver internal communications activities, including campaigns, events, and content creation, to engage and inform internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including ExCom, ELT, people managers, and colleagues, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Group's strategy, organizational design, and business needs to inform internal communications activities.
  • Identify and address awareness gaps within the divisions and the wider business through effective internal communications activities.
  • Use audience insights and evidence-based approaches to ensure all internal communications activities are aligned to the Group's strategy, relevant to the target audience, and in line with brand tone of voice/employer brand.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in internal communications, with a strong track record of designing and delivering effective internal communications activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address awareness gaps.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging and professional communications for internal audiences.
  • Strong technical capability to deliver internal communications activities using appropriate tools and channels.
