Job Title: Healthcare Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including toileting, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assess and meet the individual needs of service users, including their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user progress and care plans.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK healthcare sector.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (online update service beneficial).
  • References (to cover 3 years, including 1 care reference).
  • Full employment history back to education, explaining any gaps.
Training and Development:
  • Health and safety training.
  • Patient moving and handling training.
  • Infection control.
  • First Aid, including BLS (basic life support).
  • Safeguarding of Adults.
  • Medication.
  • Learning Disabilities and Autism.
