Aerospace Manufacturing Technologist

Job Description:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of machines and develop your skills in machining techniques. You will split your time between attending training sessions at In-Comm Training Centre in Telford and working on-site with experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing components using hand fitting techniques
- Preparing and using milling machines
- Creating CAD models using a CAD system
- Developing engineering project plans
- Preparing and using CNC machining centres
- General welding applications
- Complying with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements
Training and Development:
This apprenticeship will be delivered over 3 years, with the first 12 months spent attending training sessions full-time and the remaining time spent working one day a week. You will learn from skilled engineers and develop the skills needed for a successful career in manufacturing.
