Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Distinct Consultancy. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating sales from quoting and following up opportunities from the live project pipeline, as well as prospecting for new business in assigned sectors and specific end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal sales targets
  • Report daily sales and quotations
  • Own key accounts and contracts across the group, focusing on new business generation
  • Generate enquiries from sales calls and fully utilise lead generation systems
  • Produce quotations from customer enquiries based on relevant design standards
  • Follow up on quotations and record feedback to improve future performance and conversion rates
  • Attend site if required to survey for quotations
  • Develop major new accounts, major contractors, installers and end users

Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret technical information and drawings
  • Solutions selling experience desirable
  • Practical and growth mindset
  • Exposure to construction industry desirable
  • Full UK Driver's licence
  • Team player but confident to work alone
  • Experience with using CAD and CRM or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work at height
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
