Health and Safety Advisor Opportunity

Principal People Recruitment is delighted to be working with a specialist Utilities and Civil Engineering organisation to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.

The successful candidate will provide Health and Safety guidance across multiple sites, conduct audits and inspections, and support the Health and Safety Manager in driving a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Health and Safety guidance and support to site teams
  • Conduct regular Health and Safety audits and inspections
  • Support the Health and Safety Manager in developing and implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the business
  • Engage with all areas of the organisation to promote Health and Safety awareness and best practice

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Company car or car allowance
  • 28 days plus Bank holiday
  • Pension Scheme
