About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and personable veterinary surgeon to join our team at Redhill Companion Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and building strong relationships with our clients.

The ideal candidate will be confident in all aspects of sole charge, routine consulting, and surgery. You will also have a desire to mentor less experienced vets, as we have two new graduates and a third recent graduate joining our team.

Our practice offers a range of benefits, including a salary up to £70k pro-rata (dependent on experience), fully funded and generous CPD, no OOHs, and a rota of just 1 in 5 full weekends and 1 in 5 Saturdays. We also offer paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDS, BVA) and a pension scheme.

About Our Team:

Our team is friendly and passionate, consisting of 6 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 student nurses, 4 veterinary care assistants, 5 receptionists, and a practice manager. We hold a variety of interests, including surgery and exotics, and our team is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients.

About Us:

Redhill Companion Care is a purpose-built surgery with excellent transport links, being just 20 minutes' drive and 15 minutes direct train to Gatwick airport and 30 minutes from London by train. We are surrounded by the natural beauty of the North Downs, offering excellent bird-watching opportunities. Our surgery is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitors, ECG, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters.

We can consider full or part-time hours for this role, with full-time hours over 4 weekdays and the weekend rota of 1 in 5 full weekends and 1 in 5 Saturdays. There is no OOHs responsibility with this role, ensuring a great work-life balance.
