Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Reigate, Surrey

Location: Close to Reigate, Surrey

Practice Type: Part of a group

About us:

  • The practice has excellent transport links, being just 20 minutes' drive and 15 minutes direct train to Gatwick airport and 30 minutes from London by train.
  • As an established surgery, it is purpose-built with digital X-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitors, ECG, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters.

Team Info: You will be joining a friendly and passionate team consisting of 6 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 student nurses, 4 veterinary care assistants, 5 receptionists, and a practice manager.

Role: The practice is expanding and looking for an experienced, personable vet to join their team on a full or part-time basis.

Hours: Full-time hours would be over 4 weekdays and the weekend rota is 1 in 5 full weekends and 1 in 5 Saturdays. There is no OOH responsibility with this role ensuring a great work/life balance.

About you:

  • They are looking for a vet who is confident in all aspects of sole charge, routine consulting, and surgery and who has a desire to mentor less experienced vets.
  • You will be approachable and recognise the importance of building trusted relationships with your patients, clients, and colleagues.
  • Experienced vets will feel confident with routine surgical and medical cases and must be confident with occasional sole charge.
  • They are also offering help with Visas for any overseas candidates.

Salary: Competitive salary of up to £70,000 p/a (FTE) depending on your experience
