Job Title: Amazon Channel Development Lead

Location: Bridgend, South Wales

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Amazon Channel Development Lead to join our client's rapidly growing team in Bridgend, South Wales. As a key member of our ecommerce team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the ecommerce platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ecommerce Platform Management: Manage, maintain and update the ecommerce platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience for customers.
  2. Ecommerce Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive ecommerce strategies and plans aligned with business objectives to drive online sales growth.
  3. Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business growth.
  4. Digital Marketing: Utilise industry best practices, emerging technologies and digital marketing techniques to optimise the ecommerce website's performance.
  5. Data Analysis: Analyse data, including web analytics and customer insights, to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  6. New Product Launches: Develop strategies for new product launches.
  7. Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research using tools such as Helium10 or Data Dive, in order to help optimise listings.
  8. PPC Campaigns: Assist with execution of PPC campaigns and ensure that the campaigns align with our strategies.
  9. Inventory Management: Liaise with our FBA & Inventory team, to ensure that our products are always kept in stock.
  10. Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the performance of the ecommerce platform, including key metrics, sales trends, customer behaviour and campaign effectiveness.
  11. Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketplace trends, technologies and best practices to ensure optimal account performance.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the Amazon marketplace.
  • Excel/Google Sheets: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to help track and analyse performance metrics.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organised and detail-oriented to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum based on experience.
