About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to join our team at Humres, a leading provider of multi-disciplined civil engineering, groundworks, earthworks, remediation, and demolition services. As a key member of our ground remediation and regeneration department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing complex earthworks, ground remediation, decommissioning, and land regeneration projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee earthworks, ground remediation, decommissioning, and land regeneration projects to ensure they are completed safely, on budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to meet client expectations and company objectives.
  • Lead and motivate a team of professionals to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry legislation, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing complex remediation projects, with a strong understanding of contaminated land remediation.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety requirements, industry legislation, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Relevant technical qualifications, such as a degree or HNC/HND in geology, engineering, or environmental science.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software.
