Job Opportunity: SEN Outreach Tutor

We are seeking an experienced SEN teacher or tutor to provide face-to-face support to students with complex needs in the Boston area. As a secondary outreach tutor, you will deliver personalized tuition to students awaiting school placements, focusing on math and English skills.

About the Role:

  • Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Hours: 15 hours per week (3 hours per day, 5 days a week)
  • Rate of Pay: £25-£33 per hour

Your Qualities:

  1. Availability during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
  2. Experience in teaching young people with complex needs, including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD.
  3. Willingness to work face-to-face within the community.

Requirements:

  1. Background teaching in English, Maths, or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
  2. QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects.
  3. Two years' previous experience working within a UK school.
