Job Title: Elderly Care Clinical Director

At Orchid Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team in Harrow. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Salary: £23 per hour

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Care Manager in planning and implementing high-quality nursing care for our elderly residents with complex needs.
  • Manage and motivate a team of nurses and carers to ensure excellent standards of care are delivered.
  • Maintain and assess the home's high quality care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Organise and motivate the carers to deliver exceptional care, upholding our reputation as a centre of excellence.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Perform administrative duties, including staff inductions and orientations.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • You must be a qualified nurse (RGN or RMN) registered with the NMC.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Prior experience in a senior nurse or clinical lead position is desirable but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4 years' hands-on nursing experience is required.
  • You should have a genuine passion for elderly care.
