About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Adviser to join our team at Selwood Housing Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide expert advice and support to employees and management, ensuring we stay on top of employment laws and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and management on employment-related matters
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices
  • Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and grievances
  • Conduct performance management and development activities to support employee growth and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business on people-related projects and initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum CIPD qualification level 3 or above
  • Previous experience as a HR adviser or similar role, with a deep understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Strong experience in Employee Relations
  • Knowledge of employment policies and case law
  • Experience and confidence to advise and influence others
  • An organised approach with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using people metrics
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation
