Business Operations Analyst

Woodside Logistics Group is seeking a talented Business Operations Analyst to join their in-house finance and analytics team at their headquarters. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and excellent presentation skills, with experience in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for helping to make sense of the vast amounts of data generated by the company's operations, and turning it into useful information that can be presented at all levels of the business to aid decision making. You will work closely with the finance and IT teams to develop reporting on cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting, and assist with weekly reporting for each company. You will also create and maintain customer dashboards, and liaise with support function departments to ensure their reporting requirements are met. The role is at the intersection of Finance, IT, and Operations, and you will gain a practical knowledge of databases and extracting data through SQL queries. You will work with a team of experienced professionals to provide live dashboards and information to allow informed and timely decision making. Internally, you will be constantly monitoring key metrics to ensure the operation runs efficiently from an operational and financial point of view. The ideal candidate will have a business-related undergraduate degree with a minimum 2.1 classification, analytical and presentation skills, and experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI. You will also have a strong understanding of the logistics industry and be able to work closely with all parts of the Group.
