Key Job DescriptionMaple Grove School seeks an experienced educational professional to spearhead its special education program, focusing on learners with autism.
This esteemed position plays a pivotal role in upholding the school's mission to provide a supportive, inclusive learning environment where each student thrives.
Core Responsibilities- To develop and implement targeted coaching programs for teachers.
- To analyze and improve teaching methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous growth.
- To motivate and empower teachers to adopt best practices aligned with the school's strategic vision.
- To design and deliver customized INSET sessions addressing specific staff needs.
- To lead comprehensive learning walks, assessing consistency and informing staff development initiatives.
- Internal Quality Assurer responsibilities for at least one qualification.
- Successful teaching experience of at least 5 years.
- A deep understanding of the complexities surrounding Special Educational Needs.
- Able to augment the school's existing strengths.
- Proven track record of working with students exhibiting diverse learning and behavioral profiles.
- Adept at fostering strong relationships with students and colleagues alike.
- Holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Bonus points for possessing complementary skills or certifications.
