Senior Financial Analyst

This advanced manufacturing company, Trostan Dene, specializes in cutting-edge manufacturing and machining solutions, catering to high-end customers across various sectors. They offer a comprehensive design-to-delivery service, utilizing state-of-the-art machinery. With ambitious plans to double and potentially triple their turnover in the next five years, backed by existing contracts and promising prospects, they are seeking a skilled professional to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities:- As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with the Finance Business Partner to produce the monthly accounts for the main engineering business.
- You will oversee the preparation of the trail balance, calculate accruals and prepayments, and journal entries, while ensuring the balance sheet is accurately balanced.
- Additionally, you will provide support with analysis and year-end tasks.
Requirements:
- A strong and experienced assistant accountant or an experienced management accountant with a proven track record of success.
- AAT qualified or equivalent, or part-qualified/qualified CIMA.
- Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in using accounting systems.
- A self-starter with a team-oriented mindset, able to work with initiative and technical ability.
Salary for this role will be between £30,000 and £40,000, with negotiation possible. Hybrid working arrangements and a range of benefits, including a pension and enhanced holiday allowance, are also available.
