Job Description:
A leading Optician group within the Zest Business Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Eye Care Specialist to join their team in Cirencester. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Optometrist to take on a challenging role, working closely with a dedicated Dispensing Optician to provide exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough eye tests, using advanced equipment such as Optomap, OCT, Tonometer, and digital slitlamp. They will work independently, but also collaborate with the Dispensing Optician to provide tailored solutions for patients. The role requires a high level of clinical freedom, allowing the Optometrist to decide how to manage patients and choose the best lens or contact lenses for them.

The practice operates from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays. The salary for this position is approximately £55,000 per annum, plus a bonus, making it an attractive offer for experienced Optometrists. Additionally, the company offers staff discounts, private medical insurance, private indemnity insurance, life cover, and a relocation package for those who need it. Continuous training and development are also encouraged, enabling Optometrists to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC), with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient engagement. They will be happy to work as the sole Optometrist and willing to learn and develop their skills further.
