Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing land opportunities and instructing consultants and development teams
- Negotiating legal agreements with Vistry lawyers and third parties
- Procuring technical, legal, and development information to instruct internal and external parties
- Identifying suitable land opportunities on and off market for immediate opportunities and longer-term land with planning potential
- Minimum of Degree standard or suitable alternative experience
- Computer literate and able to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to a good standard
- Highly literate and able to understand and interpret complex legal documentation
- Highly numerate with the ability to undertake residual valuations for land appraisals and comparable sales valuations
- Proven track record of buying land
- Good understanding of legal obligations
- Proven list of contacts in the area
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of planning authorities
- Strong mathematic and IT ability
- Ability to assess and analyze information
- In-depth understanding of budget management
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving
