About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Graphics Editor to join our team at Thomson Reuters.

As a key member of our graphics team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, visually appealing graphics to support our financial news coverage.

Your primary focus will be on designing and developing interactive graphics, charts, and visualizations to help our audience understand complex financial data.

You will work closely with our financial news reporters and editors to determine the best ways to present data-driven stories and ensure seamless integration of graphics across our platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of financial markets, economies, and companies
  • Designing and creating interactive graphics, charts, and visualizations to support financial news stories
  • Collaborating with reporters and editors to determine the best ways to present data-driven stories
  • Managing workflows and processes to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of graphics
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and graphics design
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A strong background in data visualization, graphics design, and financial markets

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, mapmaking software, and programming languages such as R or Python

A journalism degree or equivalent newsroom experience

A passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail
