**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced mechanical technician to join our team at RAF Lakenheath. As a fuelling distribution system mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, installing, repairing, replacing and modifying liquid fuel storage and distribution systems and their electrical components.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in maintaining, inspecting, installing, repairing, replacing and modifying liquid fuel storage and distribution systems and their electrical components.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of fuel systems and components, which includes inspecting and testing fuel receiving, storage and distribution facilities.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £29,507, along with benefits such as 25 days annual leave, paid sick leave, pension scheme and free on-site parking.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical engineering certification with experience in fuels or HND/HNC/BTEC
  • NVQ/City and Guilds Level 2 in Welding
  • Valid UK driving license category B
