Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
  • Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
  • Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation work.
  • City & Guilds or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
  • NVQ Level 3.
  • 18th Edition.
  • In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
Benefits:

Our client offers a competitive salary of £47,000, door-to-door travel, and overtime (OTE of £55k). Holidays include 30 days, including Bank holidays. A company vehicle and fuel card are provided. The company contributes 3% to the pension scheme, with the individual contributing 5%. After a 6-month probationary period, the individual is invited to join the company health scheme.
