We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team in supporting schools across Derbyshire. As a Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development and fostering a love of learning in the classroom.

Job Overview

As a Primary Teacher at Opogo, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons to meet the needs of students.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants and other support staff.
  • Engaging with parents and caregivers to provide regular updates on student progress.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2.
  • A strong knowledge of SEND practices and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.

Salary: £28,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
