AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our UK Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering major multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction on our expanding portfolio of the biggest and most challenging projects across all Market Sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver projects to agreed targets, including programme, budget, and quality.
- Identify and agree project objectives and develop a strategy for achieving these.
- Manage potential contractual and commercial risks to AtkinsRéalis.
- Lead project teams, building, motivating, and developing team members.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with clients and project teams.
- Agree commercial trading arrangements and communication plans with internal and external teams.
- Assemble and own project delivery programmes and plans.
- Protect AtkinsRéalis' commercial interests, including timely and accurate invoicing and effective credit control.
- Closing out projects on completion, archiving project documentation, and ensuring lessons learned are captured and disseminated.
- Chartered Engineer or Architect with experience managing design, build, and/or operate commissions on large infrastructure projects.
- Market sector experience across Water Infrastructure, Rail, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Experience with deploying various forms of construction contracts, particularly NEC3 or 4.
- Familiarity with BIM and 3D modelling tools for design and coordination purposes.
- Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to travel across the UK.
