We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to join our client, a global engineering company. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and subcontractor transactions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain Team Performance: Oversee the absence, performance, training, and development of the AP team.
- Compile Monthly Reports: Prepare and submit monthly KPIs for assessment and review.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor workflow, accounts payable processes, and system performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Closing and Compliance: Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing, adhering to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Process Review and Improvement: Conduct regular reviews of processes and policies, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing changes as needed.
- Transaction Accuracy: Ensure thorough review of transactions for accuracy of accounting entries.
- Aging Accounts Management: Monitor balances and aging accounts to facilitate timely processing and resolution of aging items.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team responsible for processing accounts payable invoices and subcontractor transactions, ensuring correct VAT/CIS interpretation is applied.
- Business Partner Support: Facilitate business partner support meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
**Requirements:**
The ideal candidate will possess relevant Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a senior or leadership position. Strong IT literacy and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
