Annual Salary: £49,205+ overtime - Yearly earnings in the region of £55,000 - £60,000

Overtime Monday - Saturday paid at £28.83 per hour

Overtime Sundays & Bank holidays paid at £38.44 per hour

Extra day off in lieu if bank holiday worked

Job Description

My client, a well-established service & maintenance workshop facility, seeks an experienced HGV Technician to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing inspection, service, maintenance, and repair of commercial vehicles, ranging from 7.5t trucks to tractor units.

Key duties include conducting thorough vehicle inspections, completing all required works, and ensuring timely completion of pre-planned maintenance.

MOT inspections and preparations are also a key part of the role, with the opportunity to present vehicles for testing if holding a heavy vehicle driving licence.

Requirements
  • Completion of an HGV Technician apprenticeship
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three qualifications
  • Full UK driving license
  • Class 1 license beneficial but not essential
  • Own tools
