Credinvestments is a pioneering startup leveraging data and intelligence to empower individuals and organizations in the sports space. We're seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our analytics team, focusing on applying data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Mining and analyzing data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development and business strategies
  • Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
  • Using predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes
  • Coordinating with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, especially software engineering, computer science, machine learning, or statistics-related
  • Experience using statistical computer languages such as R, Python, SQL, etc.
  • Experience with data warehouses such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
  • Knowledge of various machine learning techniques and experience with applications

Bonus points for:

  • Graduate degree in a STEM field, especially software engineering, computer science, machine learning, or statistics-related
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience in small startup environments
  • Experience with a distributed team/remote work
  • Passion for sports, especially soccer/football
