**Job Summary**

We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at a Secondary SEMH school in Hulme, Manchester. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional support due to their emotional and mental health needs.

The school has a strong focus on providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. Our team is committed to helping students achieve their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Help students develop life skills and independence

**Contract Details**

- Location: Hulme, Manchester
- Position: Support Worker
- Type of work: Classroom support
- Duration/Likely duration: Full academic year
- Contract type: Temporary-Permanent
- Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday (term time only)

**Requirements**

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
