About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Daytime Operations Manager to join our team at Outernet Venue.
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our venues, including:
- Acting as the main point of contact for both venues during daytime hours
- Opening the venues, reviewing daily handover notes, and conducting thorough opening checklists
- Maintaining venue fixtures and fittings
- Coordinating cleaning and maintenance issues with relevant parties and taking action where necessary
- Receiving, checking, and signing for deliveries of beverage stock
- Managing deliveries and collections for all departments
- Assisting with logistics for large show load-ins
- Managing loading bay requests for events and production requirements
- Managing lost property enquiries and collections
- Ensuring the venue is ready for incoming staff and productions per requirement
About You
We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in the entertainment industry, preferably in venue management, bars management, event production, and logistics.
You should have basic maintenance skills and be able to problem-solve and fix venue fixtures and fittings.
An electrical qualification would be an asset, but not essential.
